Eyemouth Harbour Trust were pleased to welcome Maritime Minister Lord Byron Davies of Gower’s visit to Eyemouth Harbour on 8th of March 2024. The visit fostered insightful discussions with key stakeholders on harbour operations, socio-economic impact, and prospects. Lord Davies and the delegation were provided with an overview of Eyemouth Harbour’s activities, including fishing, marine tourism, and offshore wind support, highlighting how Eyemouth’s strategic location and serviced land could better serve maritime sectors and support the energy transition. Eyemouth Harbour Trust extends gratitude to Lord Davies, his team and Scottish Borders Council and South of Scotland Enterprise, for their invaluable support throughout this visit.
